Site Details: The Bansang Hospital is situated in the remote town of Bansang, 200 miles east of the capital city of Banjul. The farthest hospital up the Gambia River, Bansang Hospital is responsible for the health care needs of some 600,000 Gambians.

Site Details: The clinic is situated in a village with a population of 5,000. However, it serves many of the surrounding villages as well, raising the total to 23,000 potential patients.

Site Details: SJGH is one of five hospitals in The Gambia. It was built by the government in 2003 and now anchors the town of Bwiam. The hospital sees more than 20,000 patients annually. It has the capacity for 200 beds. Currently has a staff of 240.
