Intern
If you're interested in spending a semester working together with the Power Up Gambia team because you believe you have a unique skill to offer, or just because you want to help out, please apply for our internship program.
Details
Weekly team meetings are in Philadelphia, PA, and the internships follow the academic calendar: Spring (early January to late May), Summer (late May to late August) and Fall (early September to late December). The precise dates are flexible.
We try to keep our operating budget to a minimum, so the internship is unpaid. Internships are based in Philadelphia, PA, and do not involve travel to The Gambia.
The internship requires a time commitment of 15-20 hours per week (flexible). Applications are accepted at any point, but your application will be considered only after the submission deadline is past. That way we hope to be fair, and consider each applicant equally, regardless of when their application was sent in. For the precise deadline of each application round, please check our News page.
